Why fiber lasers from AUXXOS?

Anyone who uses laser technology in industrial manufacturing expects more than just a focused light source. It is about controlled energy input, reproducible results and maximum process reliability. AUXXOS fiber lasers meet these requirements in dynamic manufacturing environments, with complex geometries and under real operating conditions. Whether continuous operation (CW) or pulsed applications: Our laser sources are precisely tailored to the respective application requirements. With over 30 years of experience and modular system architecture, we develop laser solutions that are technologically leading and can be integrated sustainably.

Why complex applications need the right laser source

Each application has different requirements — in terms of pulse duration, beam quality, power, cycle time, material or component geometry. That is why we leave the standard path at AUXXOS and configure each laser source individually. All AUXXOS fiber lasers are based on a modular design: power, cooling (air or water-cooled), pulse shape and frequency can be adapted exactly to your processes. The result is a system that is not only well integrated, but also really supports your day-to-day production.

Why fiber lasers are a better choice

Fiber lasers offer a number of technical advantages over classic Nd:YAG or CO₂ lasers. CO₂ lasers require complex adjustment, mirror-based beam guidance and operate at significantly lower efficiency. They are also more susceptible to contamination and less thermally efficient. Nd:YAG lasers, in turn, use crystal-based amplification, which entails more intensive maintenance and higher energy consumption. Fiber lasers, on the other hand, are more compact, more durable and operate with an efficiency of over 30%, which results in significantly lower operating costs. They offer a stable, easily focusable beam that is suitable for a wide range of applications — from deep welding and precision cutting to micro-drilling or structuring removal. With our own HADES control system, all parameters can be centrally monitored and optimally adapted to the application.

Conclusion: fiber lasers that fit the process

Our laser sources are the result of intensive development work in Amtzell and from direct exchange with our customers in application practice. They are an integral part of industrial laser applications. Not standalone components, but part of a functioning overall system.
